Development Status: Superadmission is currently in active development as a Digital Public Infrastructure initiative. We are working toward creating a unified, transparent, and algorithmically fair admission system for India’s higher education ecosystem.

The Scale of the Challenge

Every year, 35 million students in India navigate a fragmented admission system spread across 150+ examination bodies, 200+ counselling portals, and thousands of institutional processes. India’s higher education system serves over 4.14 crore students across:
  • 1,113 universities
  • 43,796 colleges
  • 11,296 standalone institutions
  • 3.5 crore new applications processed annually
This massive scale, combined with fragmentation, creates systemic inefficiencies that cost students, families, and institutions an estimated ₹15,000 crore annually in direct and indirect costs.

Our Approach

Superadmission addresses this crisis through a four-layer architecture:

Identity & Verification

Integration with APAAR ID and DigiLocker for instant, zero-touch document verification

Intelligent Matching

Implementation of the Gale-Shapley Algorithm ensuring mathematically stable and optimal seat allocation

Real-Time Transparency

Live dashboards showing real-time vacancies, merit trends, and probability estimates

Unified Settlement

Integration with UPI for payments and Academic Bank of Credits for immediate credit allocation

Digital Public Infrastructure

Supersdmission is positioned as Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), similar to UPI, Aadhaar, or DigiLocker.
This initiative aligns with NEP 2020, Digital India, and the Data Protection Act 2023.
